North & Central America

"Of Majesty and Memories"

Trying to remember the Gulf is like trying to re-create a dream… There is always in the back of our minds the positive drive to go back again”, John Steinbeck: The Log from the Sea of Cortez

In this section, you’ll find a collection of destinations in North and Central America that have left a profound impact on me, each offering its own unique natural beauty, wildlife, and atmosphere.

From the rugged wilderness of Alaska and Newfoundland to the sun-soaked shores of Turks and Caicos and Curaçao, these locations present stunning contrasts in landscapes and ecosystems. Baja California and Costa Rica bring an abundance of biodiversity, while Florida and New York reveal the diversity of nature within human-influenced environments. "Silverbank" evokes encounters with some of the planet’s most majestic wildlife.

Each place featured here comes with insights into what makes it special—from the animals that roam its lands to the landscapes that shape its character. Whether you are an adventurer, a photographer, or a nature enthusiast, I hope this section provides both inspiration and useful information for your own explorations.
